Afternoon Tea is the perfect alternative to a small family reunion, a group of friends getting together, or just for a relaxing afternoon with a sea view in Cascais.
The menu includes a selection of finger sandwiches, delicious homemade pastries, Freshly baked scones, jam and butter, and your choice of tea
Price: 22€ per person (minimum 2 people)
Served every day from 4 pm to 6:30 pm

The story of Afternoon tea
Afternoon Tea was invented in Britain in the early 1840s by Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, who become hungry everyday around four o’clock in the afternoon. So she started asking for a tray of tea, bread, butter, and cake and invited her friends to join.
After that, the tea became a fashionable social event. During the 1880’s upper-class and society women would change into long gowns, gloves, and hats for their afternoon tea which was usually served in the drawing-room between four and five o’clock.
